What are TAPR rod end?

TAPR rod ends are rod ends for hydraulic components. They consist of a threaded body. The sliding surface combination is steel/steel, whatever the type. They also feature a grease nipple for lubrication.

What are the different types of TAPR rod ends?

There are 4 types of TAPR rod ends:

  • The TAPR.N rod-end is a rod-end for hydraulic components. Its inside diameter can vary from 20 to 120 mm.
  • The TAPR.U rod-end is similar to the "TAPR.N" rod-end, except that the "TAPR.U" type allows the thread to be secured to the shaft by means of locking devices.
  • The TAPR.DO rod-end is also a rod-end for hydraulic components. Its internal diameter can vary from 12 to 100 mm. The thread can be locked by means of devices on the shank. This rod-end is particularly used in the hydraulic sector for cylinders up to 160 bar pressure.
  • The TAPR.CE rod-end for hydraulic components has an internal diameter ranging from 12 to 200 mm. The thread can be locked by means of devices on the shank. This nipple is particularly used in the hydraulic sector for cylinders with 160 bar pressure. This nipple is longer than the "TAPR.N" and "TAPR.U" series nipples.
